Where did the summer go? Did we even have summer? This defiantly was one of the cooler summers on record in this part of the Midwest. However we must of had a summer because on August 20, 2009 the kids started the new school year. So a great photo opportunity...or so I was hoping. This year R.J is a Junior, Zachary is in 8th grade and Malissa is a 5th grader. It is hard to believe I only will have one more first day of school with all three of my kids. But they are growing up.

Oh how fun! I can't believe they already started school though! And yeah, I really think summer just totally skipped over the midwest this year.
Brian and I got engaged at the Omaha Zoo by the lake with the swans on it.
