Did you know? Food info....important

It's been said that God first separated the salt water from the fresh, made dry land, planted a garden, made animals and fish... All before making a human. He made and provided what we'd need before we were born. These are best & more powerful when eaten raw. We're such slow learners... God left us a great clue as to what foods help what part of our body.

God's Pharmacy!

Amazing!

A sliced Carrot looks like the human eye. The pupil, iris and radiating lines look just like the human eye... And YES, science now shows carrots greatly enhance blood flow to and function of the eyes. A Tomato has four chambers and is red. The heart has four chambers and is red. All of the research shows tomatoes are loaded with lycopine and are indeed pure heart and blood food.

Grapes hang in a cluster that has the shape of the heart. Each grape looks like a blood cell and all of the research today shows grapes are also profound heart and blood vitalizing food.

A Walnut looks like a little brain, a left and right hemisphere, upper cerebrums and lower cerebellums. Even the wrinkles or folds on the nut are just like the neo-cortex. We now know walnuts help develop more than three (3) dozen neuron-transmitters for brain function.
Kidney Beans actually heal and help maintain kidney function and yes, they look exactly like the human kidneys.

Celery, Bok Choy, Rhubarb and many more look just like bones. These foods specifically target bone strength. Bones are 23% sodium and these foods are 23% sodium. If you don't have enough sodium in your diet, the body pulls it from the bones, thus making them weak. These foods replenish the skeletal needs of the body.

Avocadoes, Eggplant and Pears target the health and function of the womb and cervix of the female - they look just like these organs. Today's research shows that when a woman eats one avocado a week, it balances hormones, sheds unwanted birth weight, and prevents cervical cancers. And how profound is this? It takes exactly nine (9) months to grow an avocado from blossom to ripened fruit. There are over 14,000 photolytic chemical constituents of nutrition in each one of these foods (modern science has only studied and named about 141 of them).

Figs are full of seeds and hang in twos when they grow. Figs increase the mobility of male sperm and increase the numbers of Sperm as well to overcome male sterility.
Sweet Potatoes look like the pancreas and actually balance the glycemic index of diabetics. Olives assist the health and function of the ovaries

Oranges, Grapefruits, and other Citrus fruits look just like the mammary glands of the female and actually assist the health of the breasts and the movement of lymph in and out of the breasts.
Onions look like the body's cells. Today's research shows onions help clear waste materials from all of the body cells. They even produce tears which wash the epithelial layers of the eyes. A working companion, Garlic, also helps eliminate waste materials and dangerous free radicals from the body.
I received this information in an email. It did not indicate who I should credit to. However, I found the information quite interesting

Silver Lake...Short Weekend...But Eventfull...July 11 & 12...

I am so excited...and I know it all takes time...We finally have steps. The handrail isn't finished yet but at least I can get down to the dock with out...

Slipping on the planks that we did have or the mud...see behind the corner post.
The before is below...

And we took my great nephew for a boat ride...HE LOVED it. The wind blowing in his face and hair. By the way my great nephew's Daddy built the steps. Thanks Chris...

The sun set was beautiful...here are a couple pictures...That I thought turned out neat...

Even Sam likes the pretty sunset. :)

And what is this? The FIRST signs of ELECTRICITY. An Electricl box. Woo Hoo. This means at least they are thinking of starting this project. THen water is to becoming right behind the electricity. It will be nice not to have to run a generator. And in the background...YES we also have a drive way. No more wet, muddy field to drive through. As you may know...It always seems to be raining this summer.

This is how Sammy likes ridding in the car. He has also learned that if he steps on the "button" he can roll the window down him self. Now to teach him to roll it back up.

We only were here a short 15 hours this weekend, from about 7pm Saturday night till 10Am on Sunday before the rain came again, but feel like a lot has gotten accomplished.
We ended the morning trying to catch a few fish but to no prevail...The rain was coming and we packed up and headed home early...So I decided then to head to Sioux City with the kids to eat at the Olive Garden. Mmm.

Outside my window...

4th of July Weekend...

We headed over on Thursday July 2nd since we didn't have to work on Friday. Thursday night was a nice night for a lil boating. Aren't they cute?

Row, row, row your boat gently around the lake...

or a golf cart ride...

Sammy absolutely love riding in the golf cart. There is a lil basket on the back that the kids put him in and he would sit there the entire ride.
The trampoline was a HUGE hit this weekend.
Kyle doing a flip...
Brody doing his flip...
Zachary flipping...

AND...

Randy had been bragging that he could still do a backwards flip...and he was right!

Tho it's not something he probably doesn't wants to do all the time.

Even Mary braved getting on...I mean being brave by getting on with her son....but that didn't last long.

But I give her credit...She's a BRAVE gal.
Cooking fun!
Breakfast anyone? We got this in right before it began to rain for about 4 hours.

So I told Mary about this Fabulous book that I purchase a month or so ago titled "In His Faithfulness's, He Afflicted Me" that I happened to finally get started reading two days earlier and so she began and didn't put it down until she was done.
This book is a true story written by a fellow blogger named Lynnette Kraft...over at
Dancing Barefoot on Weathered Ground. Check her site out. Its AMAZING. You too can purchase her book by clicking on her website.Malissa and Brody had a lot of fun. Playing here they are pretending that Brody is a bad guy and has to be taken to jail. It was so funny to watch them...
Despite the rain that began the Fourth of July celebration, the weather cleared off enough to have friends join us for a rib eye BBQ picnic.

We are proud to show our patriotism by flying our National flag.

What a beautiful picture. Or so I think. :)

Malissa doing a lil fishin' on this holiday.

We let the "Older" kids shoot off the display.

Sparklers are so fun...

Randy giving his hand a try at writing his name with the sparkler like he did when he was lil younger.

After the fireworks were finished it is time to make "SMORES"
Sunday was just absolutely perfect...So out on the lake we headed. Taking the kids tubing.

Boat rides are so fun. But I stayed on the deck with my Dad, since we don't have the steps done was a little difficult getting down to the dock. But I think he enjoyed just watching.
So I asked him if he wanted a golf cart ride instead. He was all for that. At 80 years old was his first ride given to him by Malissa. Down the road to check out the other lots that where sold.

Zach blowing up a tube.

Kids having fun trying to dump Kyle off.Perfect way to end the weekend...

And it just isn't the Fourth of July with out WATERMELON!
