I'll be back shortly...

Life has been a whirl-wind her the past month or two. I've temporarily went back to 40 hours a week at the City office. It should be Official tonight with the hiring of a new City Administator ? City Clerk so hopefully by March 1st I am back to my 30 hours a week.
Then my laptop computer has been on this "Blinking" Blitz so finally found a lil time to take it inand I find out it needs a new battery, $135.00 battery, but still cheaper than a new laptop and I do really like my pink laptop. So when I find out that is fixed I have lots to update... So till then...
I'll be back shortly...

New Storage Building at the Lake...

I hadn't been to the lake house for almost four weeks...So today I decided to take a drive and see the progress...Well there hasn't been any progress on the house it's self but we purchased a building at the Clay county fair in September and the storage shed is up!!! The shed is lined up with the lot lines and the house is centered on the lake...If your wondering why it looks a little funny. So now we have place for the boat, camper and the jeep for the winter.
Randy spent all afternoon moving dirt around.

We soon will have an official address...The road way is now named.

Fixing up the '72 Chevelle...

Randy bought himself a toy...A 1972 Chevelle...So between, Randy, R.J and my Brother Dennis they are going to fix it up. So the project begins...

A brand new engine installed...

I'll keep updating as the progress continues...

New Garage...

This poor ole garage has scene it's better days. The bottom is completely rotten and the way it settled all the rain and snow from the neighbors and the alley run right into the garage and we would have s skating rink in the winter and a muddy mess in the spring. Well no more the garage is GONE...All except for one wall..Why you ask we left one wall? Well you see the City ordinances have changed since the original garage was built and if we tore down that wall we'd have to move it in five feet off the property line and we don't want to do that. We need all the space we can. Our lot is only 50 feet wide anyway and to loos five of those feet, not a good idea. Then in the spring we will be having four cars needing to be parked in the back yard and so we are adding on a third stall.

Here comes the cement...
Our lovely wall...The other side of the lovely wall...
A very naughty kitty left its mark...Randy not a happy fellow. :(

I found these and love them...

As We Grow...

As we grow up, we learn that even the one person that wasn't supposed to ever let us down, probably will. You'll have your heart broken and you'll break others' hearts.
You'll fight with your best friend or maybe even fall in love with them,

and you'll cry because time is flying by. So take too many pictures, laugh too much, forgive freely, and love like you've never been hurt. Life comes with no guarantees, no time outs, no second chances.

You just have to live life to the fullest, tell someone what they mean to you and tell someone off, speak out, dance in the pouring rain, hold someone's hand, comfort a friend, fall asleep watching the sun come up, stay up late, be a flirt, and smile until your face hurts.

Don't be afraid to take chances or fall in love and most of all, live in the moment because every second you spend angry or upset is a second of happiness you can never get back.

My Guy...

"Find a guy who calls you beautiful instead of hot, who calls you back when you hang up on him, who will lie under the stars and listen to your heartbeat, or will stay awake just to watch you sleep...

Wait for the boy who kisses your forehead, who wants to show you off to the world when you are in sweats, who holds your hand in front of his friends, who thinks you' re just as pretty without makeup on.

One who is constantly reminding you of how much he cares and how lucky he is to have YOU... The one who turns to his friends and says, "thats her".... - Unknown
