...In Loving Memory...

It is sooooo very hard to believe that it has been two complete years since my Mommy left this world to be be in the arms of our Lord Jesus. Tho it is hard to be with out her, I know she is in a better place and I will see her in Heaven someday. Below is my first scrapbook page I made. I seem to have trouble figuring out to make one then tonight it just all fell together...like there was an angel looking over my shoulder telling me exactly what to do. I know the poem is small but I did include with this blog. Have a tissue ready...I LOVE YOU, MOMMYI was just reading on another blog tonight and it had a very truthful and meaningful prayer..."God...Your way, Not Mine." How true this is. I'd like to give credit to who had this quote but it was a comment by anonymous.
Here is the poem in the page above...

Loss of Mother Poem

Now that I am gone, remember me with smiles and laughter.

And if you need to cry,cry with your brother or sister who walks in grief beside you.

And when you need me,put your arms around anyone

and give to them what you need to give to me.

There are so many who need so much.

I want to leave you something --something much better than words or sounds.

Look for me in the people I've known or helped in some special way.

Let me live in your heart as well as in your mind.

You can love me most by letting your love reach out to our loved ones,

by embracing them and living in their love.

Love does not die, people do.

So, when all that's left of me is love,

give me away as best you can.

The Nation's Largest County Fair

Meeting a Nashville Star!!

The Girls W/ Shawn Mayer!!!

Maycee, Shawn Mayer (Nashville Star Contestant, 3rd Place 08) and Malissa
September 7, 2008 was a day spent at the World's Largest County Fair-The Clay County Fair. As you read in an earlier post I have been supporting our LOCAL Narshville Star contestant Shawn Mayer. Well the Local radio station from Spencer flew Shawn home for this BIG event. Sooooooo we had to go and see her again. We saw her when she preformed for the actual show BUT this time we were able to get her autograph and even get a picture with Shawn. Malissa and Maycee had soooooo much fun. This was a day they will never forget. Now the next time we plan on seeing Shawn will be in Spencer again on November 22 for an actual Nashville Star concert.
