Silver Lake...

The weekend of June 12-14th at the Lake.

That weekend was spent fixing the deck. When Randy snapped a line it wasn't correct, so we took off most of the boards and raised the middle and fixed the problem. I love the cedar. Now to get back there and do a railing and seal it. Work...work...work...It will be worth it in the end!

On June 13, 2009 was KICD 10th annual antique tractor ride...So I came back to help with this event in Primghar. There were over 225 tractors that came through town. The event went off smoothly...Thanks to all those who volunteered.

While taking a lil drive around the lake we found a painted turtle that we let Malissa grab and play with in a tub for about an hour before she let him go so he would continue living his HAPPY life.

That next day she found this...and had fun playing with him for abit before letting him go too to freedom.She was a great help swabbing the dock...

And then we had her cousin come over and spend the night...

They swam and learned how to cast... and even caught quite a few...Bullhead and one nice walleye that got away. :)MMM...Fried Bull head...
