So we spent one evening together making this for the 3 yr old. We also did a goodie basket for the parents. With towels, cleaning supplies, munchies and other stuff. After the gifts were delivered I received a very nice Thank-you in the mail. So this made it all worth it.

Adopt-A-Family...2009
Ok playing catch up for going so long with out a computer...Last year the Nieman's adopted a needed family for Christmas, so we again decided to do the same. This years family consisted of a 3 year old boy who loves Sponge Bob and an 9 month old lil girl. So Malissa & I found this Sponge Bob kit to make into a blanket.

Coming from a family that used to get adopted at Christmas time...this really hit home for me. What you are doing is so special and means a lot for those families. The values you are instilling in your children is priceless and you all will leave lasting impressions on this world. Keep it up!

That is wonderful! I would love to do something like this. How did you go about finding a family to adopt?
